The creative team did not forget to include their personalities to each individual minion. The characters are the main reason the films have been successful and if you loved them, you’ll love this game. Visually, the game is like watching the movie. It was just really annoying to try to get rid of it, so they had to reboot my system. A coding screen appeared at the corner of the game, but it did not stop me from continuing with my upgrades of the island.
There were some glitches in the system as I was playing the game. You will just need to keep up with the management of your community, and continuously build. It was a pretty fun and addicting game, because the building and games are endless. I played one where a minion is barefoot skiing with a shark pulling you the goal is to jump over rocks and collect coins by tapping on the screen at the right moment. There are also games for you to participate in for points, which there are five games currently. Basically, it’s like Sim City, where you control what is going to be built and based on how well it does, you get points to purchase other materials. I was able to get some hands-on time with the game on an iPad. There are many different stations in the game including: a weapons pit, where you can create weird weapons like a gas gun a piranha pit, where you watch the minions go fishing a grocery market, where you can buy food, and many more. After finding a deserted island to inhabit, you must help build the island into fun paradise. This also includes sinking the cruise ship all the Minions are trying to have a vacation on. Phil is a minion, created exclusively for the game, who is a bit of a screw up in everything he does. Illumination Entertainment and Universal have partnered with EA to create a new mobile game called Minions Paradise.
With the new Minions movie coming out, Universal has been promoting their characters out to different advertisers and now gaming.
