I cannot even begin to express how Amazing the nurse were! My second baby was easy in and out and still we had amazing nurse and staff! "I had both by babies here! The first kid was a problem child and spent 2 weeks in the NICU. I have no idea why multiple friends were told something different than me but it definitely contributed to a stressful recovery." We ended up sharing all the meals I was given, which left us both underfed and exhausted, considering we were recovering from a traumatic birth experience. There was an option to buy a voucher but he needed to walk to the cafeteria to do that (and our son was in the NICU so he didn't want to go far or leave me, I was very emotional), not to mention the added expense on top of everything else. The hospital also didn't want my husband coming and going from the hospital so our options were extremely limited. When I tried to order a meal after giving birth I was told only I could get food, not my husband. Several of my friends have given birth at this specific hospital and told me both they and their husbands (or partners) were provided with meals during their hospital stay. Because I went into labor before my induction date, my preferred doctor wasn't available and I did have some issues with the way the on call doctor handled things and wasn't happy with that experience. They only went above and beyond and I have no complaints at all about how I was treated by them. "I went into labor and chose to give birth at Ascension Seton Hays because I wanted a small, intimate birthing experience. The Doctors and their staffs were friendly and professional! I recommend Ascension with the highest regards!" Everything was right on time and the surgery went so well I didn’t even have to spend the night. They called and said that they could see me earlier in the day. "Everyone worked very hard to keep me as comfortable as possible! I was told that my surgery was to be on Friday. I am told by my relative who is a patient that the food is really good!" Nurses and staff are helpful and knowledgeable. The meals were delicious and every one was served by a friendly face." My family was kept constantly informed which was comforting to them. Every nurse made me feel comfortable and at ease. I had the best hospital care I have ever had. The care I received throughout my entire stay was spectacular. I was scheduled for surgery on a day that was icy and cold, and everything was right on time. "I can’t say enough good things about my stay.
